It's convenient location near the downtown core was a boon to residents and a precursor of things to come: the 72 unit neighborhood was soon just a stones throw away from explosive retail growth that included such quality businesses as Starbucks, Top Foods and more. Le Chardonnay was later converted to a successful condominium.
